Junior Stylist|Assistant (She|Hers)

Originally from Rochester NY, Carly began her career at Le Shag as a receptionist and quickly became inspired to become a hair stylist. In a short time, Carly found herself enrolled in beauty school receiving a license in 2020. After spending a year dedicated to working with Jennifer and the other Master/Senior stylists at Le Shag in assisting, she is now stepping on the floor as a Junior Stylist.

Carly seeks inspiration from soft, ethereal tones that one would see in classic Hollywood fashion, album covers, and vintage beauty. She is particularly drawn to hair and makeup styles of the 1960s, such as Sharon Tate, Nancy Sinatra, and Bobby Gentry.

Carly adds:

“I started at Le Shag as a receptionist, and quickly became interested in the hair world. Shortly thereafter I enrolled in cosmetology school and got my license in 2020.  I was lucky to work as an assistant after that and learn from the knowledgeable Master and Senior Stylists at Le Shag.  I’ve also enjoyed working at weddings and photoshoots as a makeup artist.  I draw inspiration from soft, ethereal tones in old Hollywood movies, album covers, and vintage beauty ads.  I am particularly drawn to hair and makeup styles of the 1960s, such as Sharon Tate, Nancy Sinatra, and Bobby Gentry.  I love to see vintage styles and colors that have been re-imagined for today.

I love Le Shag because the staff is very welcoming and we care about helping one another.  I believe in providing a relaxing environment for clients to feel at ease during their services.  Most of all, I enjoy connecting with individuals and guiding their beauty visions to fruition.”
