Mikaela began her career at Le Shag in 2015 as front-of-house and assistant to founder Jennifer Donovan. Pausing with Le Shag to earn her college degree in Albany, Mikaela continued to evolve as a stylist within a corporate, high-end, high-volume hair salon. It was there that Mikaela truly honed in on her confidence, creativity and skill.

When Mikaela moved back to the area, she returned back home to Le Shag where she currently operates as Senior Stylist. Mikaela has spent the last few years of her career blossoming in the Le Shag environment and honing in on her specialties as a full time stylist. She currently focuses on an organic approach to dry hair cutting, diverse blonding techniques, lived in hair color, as well as special event hair styling and makeup.

Mikaela also participates in special events at Le Shag that include hair and makeup for film/TV, stage, commercial/publishing, and runway as well as wedding events.

Mikaela takes immense pride in forming meaningful relationships with clients and masterfully tailoring the experience in her chair for each individual.
